  1. Ok so I regret now that I am home not looking to see how much this thing costs.. and since I can’t seem to find the same one ANYWHERE on the whole internet I’ll base the following calculations on the closest thing I did find:

So for a person working on minimum wage here in IL ($7.75) would have to work roughly 8.8 at a McDonald’s to purchase one of these babies (10% sales tax).. Thats IF they paid absolutely nothing in taxes for those hours worked…

  2. Sorta strange it costs so much considering it’s an indirect occupational marketing tool for McDonalds HR dept… you know get the kids hooked on McD’s at age 3, hire them at 14, sign away their future at 17 by making them store manager, and franchise holder at age 22. Strange treadmill.

Scary thing is, in Washington DC, minimum wage is $7.55 while the cost of living is significantly higher and Kansas has a minimum wage that is LOWER than the federal at $2.65 (Premium Pay After 46 Designated Hours). That’s fucked up.

  3. Ya know though, I remember having a playdoh McDonalds thing where I could make little fake hamburgers and fries and whatnot and I turned out ok .. I even ate there quite a bit.

I don’t understand that minimum wage thing.. They must just go off the federal limit or something because I don’t ever remember looking at any jobs that were under the $5.15 or whatever it was in high school back in sunny ol’ kansas..

  4. I wonder why there are not cubicle worker toy playsets for kids aspiring to drab and unfulfilling white collar middle management occupations?
